Mr. Bayan remembers graduating from law school thinking family law would be “easy.” As it turned out, it wasn’t easy, but he was particularly suited for this area of law. His compassion, coupled with his attention to detail, allowed him to earn the confidence of his clients. His undergraduate degree was in structural engineering, and he applied his analytical mind to a very human area of law. “People would call me and be very distressed with personal problems, and I had to tell them that I would be able to handle their problem, that I would be able to solve it.” As a young lawyer, “I made sure I learned the ins-and-outs, whatever I promised these people that I would do, and I accomplished those goals.” He continued to gain more significant experience and expertise in his chosen field of law.
Attorney Bayan received his law degree from the University of La Verne in Southern California. Over the years, he is proud to have acquired the skill set that frankly not every attorney in a family law practice has. He is very skilled in the application of civil procedure and the rules of evidence. He is comfortable appearing in Court, is reliable and prepared when doing so, and makes sure to do everything in accordance with the code of civil procedure. Mr. Bayan feels “A lot of these family law attorneys, they just don’t have that down. They’re turning in their stuff late; they don’t understand motions to compel; they don’t have a skill set of propounding discovery and all this kind of stuff that I can utilize when it becomes necessary in a family law situation.”
The biggest part of practicing law that he loves and feels most gratified by is those people who come to him with a dilemma, especially a “big dilemma.” Often they are distressed, feeling they have been perhaps cheated or misled, or simply not properly represented by a previous attorney, and Mr. Bayan takes pride in taking on those clients and listening to their issues, and quickly and methodically getting involved in their case. Through his actions, it is fair to say he earns their trust. Again, he is proud that his clients are super pleased with his outcomes complimenting him on making them feel that “I would not let them down, that I would do what I said I would and accomplish their goals and resolve their problems.”
Mr. Bayan is also a licensed patent attorney licensed in 2016, registration number 75521. He received his law degree from the University of La Verne in Southern California. His undergraduate degree was in structural engineering.
